Hidden Gem in a Charming Location

We arrived at this hotel after a tiring journey and were pleasantly surprised by its tucked-away location in a picturesque town. The hotel, spread across two beautifully renovated buildings, exudes a sense of warmth and elegance. The friendly staff made us feel welcome right from the start, and the sumptuous breakfast spread was a delightful start to our day.

This hotel on the Kues side of the Mosel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the location was fantastic - within walking distance of the old town and even the brewery in town. The attention to detail was impressive, with rooms featuring amenities like Nespresso coffee machines and even slippers and robes. I was lucky enough to have a balcony room with a stunning view of the castle in Bernkastel. Lastly, the breakfast was a standout, with fresh made eggs and a wide variety of options included.

All in all, there was nothing to fault about this hotel.

I had such a delightful stay at this hotel! the location was perfect, just a short walk to the lovely town center and close to the river. Secondly, the attention to detail was incredible. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, complete with a Nespresso coffee machine and luxurious robes and slippers. And oh, the view! I couldn't get enough of the stunning castle view from my room. Lastly, the breakfast was simply fantastic, with fresh made eggs and everything you could want included. It truly made my mornings a joy.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was perfect.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wonderful choice of fresh and homemade produce, freshly prepared eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice. We also enjoyed relaxing in the wine bar with a large selection of Mosel wines. The staff was friendly, welcoming and always helpful.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, ensuring peace and quiet throughout the night. The room was spotless and had a beautiful view of the surroundings. The breakfast was delicious, with several options to choose from. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, and the wine bar provided a great atmosphere to unwind.

The lack of an elevator really made it difficult to get to our room on the top floor. It was quite tiring to climb the stairs every day after a long day of exploring.

We were quite excited to spend a New Year's Eve getaway with my partner, but unfortunately our experience was not exactly what we expected. However, the food on New Year's Eve was great, and the bar drinks were complementary throughout the night. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport and the nearest city. We loved being able to see the fireworks from our room, and that was indeed the highlight of our stay.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the fact that parking was conveniently located right in front of the hotel. The highlight for me was the excellent breakfast, with delicious fresh-made eggs. Additionally, the hotel boasts a fantastic wine bar on-site, offering a great selection of Mosel wines and tasty food. The charming old centre of the town was just a leisurely 15-minute stroll along the beautiful Mosel river. a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend.
